We’re Two Roots Trading — a family-founded Filipino- and Ethiopian-inspired import brand curating authentic foods, artisan goods, and cultural treasures made in the Philippines and bringing them to your doorstep. 

Our roots run deep (literally — we named ourselves after them). One root grew up in the lively streets of Manila, surrounded by laughter, food stalls, and colorful traditions that turn even ordinary days into celebrations. The other grew up in a home filled with Ethiopian customs — community gatherings, generosity, and stories that stretched far beyond the dinner table.

It started simple:

We missed the feeling of home.

Not just the food or the crafts, but the rhythm — the way both cultures turn everyday life into something meaningful and shared. The smell of a Manila street market at sunset, the laughter echoing from a family meal, the warmth of being surrounded by things that carry history and love.

Our longing for those traditions — the ones that shaped who we are — has motivated us to bring those worlds here. To share them with you all. To merge our cultures and bring our childhoods a little closer to us, one product, one flavor, one story at a time.

So, we did what any sentimental, slightly homesick, and deeply inspired duo would do — we built a bridge between the two places that made us who we are.
